Jon started How the Pros Play, Inc in the fall of 2007 and established a dealership with Rhino Sports ® shortly thereafter.  In addition to How the Pros Play, Inc., Jon also owns an internationally recognized swine genetics company that has over 15,000 customers in 49 states and 10 foreign countries.  Jon has appeared on ABC national news, the cover of the Washington Post, The New York Times, South Korean state television, and countless other publications.

Jon graduated from Unity High School in 1991, Missouri auction school in 1992, and the University of Illinois in 1995.

Jon is married to Karla. Karla works in the accounting department at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. They have one child, Jonathan (8), a spoiled Basset Hound (Buddy Love), and a Black Lab (Wrigley).

Jon's hobbies include attending Fighting Illini sporting events, Louisville Bat games, Chicago Cub sporting events, and visiting friends and family. Karla's family resides in the greater Louisville area, and Jon and Karla make it there at least once a month.   Jon also helps coach Jonathon’s little league baseball games.  Jon and Karla attend St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sadorus, IL where he serves as a communion assistant and an elder.
